Firms we write to

We keep the business name, the business email address a firm publishes on its website, and the address of the page where we found it, as a record of why we wrote. We delete these records 12 months after our last email to you if you never became a customer. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your address on a do-not-contact list so we do not write again. Ask at [email protected] and we reply within one business day.

This website

This website runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, has no forms, and sets no cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, delivers the pages and may keep standard technical logs of requests.

If you buy

The emails you send us, your answers to the 6-question form (such as firm name, number of staff, and which devices people use), and your order record. Stripe handles payment; we never see your card number. We never ask for passwords, sign-in codes or recovery codes, and we never log in to your Microsoft 365 tenant. If you send a password or code anyway, we delete it and tell you. Setup records are deleted 12 months after your last order, or sooner on request.

Who else gets it

Stripe, our hosting and email providers, and the AI tools that help us work. They may handle it outside Canada, including in the United States. We do not sell it.

How we protect it

Records sit in password-protected business accounts and on a password-protected computer; the email account uses two-step sign-in. Only the business owner and the tools that run Passkey Switch can open them.

Your rights

Passkey Switch is accountable for this policy, and the business owner is responsible for it. Ellis, our AI assistant, answers [email protected] and passes privacy requests to the owner. Ask there to see, correct or delete your information, or to complain. You can also complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
